Downie Wenjack Fund
This fund is part of Gord Downie’s legacy and commitment to improving the lives of First Peoples through the preservation of Chanie Wenjack’s residential school story. Their goal is to foster relationships between Indigenous and Non Indigenous Canadians by providing safe spaces for dialogue and creating opportunities for these two solitudes to connect.
