Our Growth

With success delivering our core program offerings, Focus Forward continues to increase our presence on a national scale. Looking to the coming year, we have partnered with Ulnooweg Education Center in Nova Scotia to provide Indigenous youth across the Atlantic with opportunities to work in community greenhouses while gaining paid employment, school credits, certifications, and the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in current and future labour markets while also supporting food security initiatives in their communities.

We have partnered with Northwest Territories/Nunavut Council of Friendship Centres to host a Traditional Skills and Entrepreneurship program with youth from across the North. This program will provide youth with the opportunity to learn the traditional skill of mukluk making while also participating in entrepreneurship and e-commerce workshops.
